Man, this has been a rough few episodes, huh? Not, like, quality-wise, it's still pretty decent even at its worst, but...emotionally. These characters are taking a lot of punishment. This episode was just the latest in that line.

Hey, I actually liked that one a lot more than the last two! Real emotional moments and character decisions for BOTH Lapis and Peridot, and Steven's world is being shaken up in more ways than one. It'll be REALLY interesting to see where THAT goes.

Well, that was...painful. Not in a bad way--in fact, it was 100% on purpose pain infliction, but it hurt to watch. I personally didn't rate it terribly high, but it certainly was well put-together.

That was really interesting. Lots of great, eerie stuff, hints at dark magics, and an interestingly Ghibli-esque treatment of forest magics. I'm looking forward to the next episode, which I'll be starting shortly!
