I have to say, the foam armour (still in progress) is not quite as impressive looking as the velvet surcoat and actually metal hauberk. BUT should I ever need to do a “Minerva McGonagall Battle Outfit I feel I have the hat design sorted!

I honestly did not expect to actually like Red Notice, which is probably why I did. It was hilarious and dumb and the costumes were really, really swish. But of course, you can probably afford that kind of budget if you can also afford Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds for your Netflix movie.

I have just finished 3 days of stage combat (rapier and buckler, we did the 'Where's my supersuit?' scene from The Incredibles) followed by an extra morning of fencing lessons, which has been fantastic.
