Tim might become a dm! I thought of two members of his first bigger campaign:

Camilla (in his class), and Heiko (a bit older). Camilla can be brutal in game and is very knowledgable. She is playfully called "Kami" by the others.

Heiko has no one to play with, so he joins this random group of younger kids. He has a little half bro.
