I just realized I never posted R.W. Barton's reward from June! Well that most be addressed immediately! A very fine looking maiden she is.

On the flight back to Bronycon I had an entire aisle of the aircraft to
myself, so I for the duration of the flight I turned it into an
impromptu studio. Between reviewing the Roan rule book and working on
some client work I got this sketch done. It is from my Deep Six
Equestria dreamscape and it is of one of the Kaiju that attacks
Equestria.

One of the reward sketches I have done for Chris Eley of his character Corwyn/ Corin. This character is a dragon who has several different physical forms. This is their female rabbit form.
I've got a large project coming up in 2017 that is going to require me to be drawing lots and lots of rats. So I figured I'd actually sit down this morning and between doing loads of laundry do some study sketches of these rodents. All in all not bad for about 3 hours of work.

Sundown is a bat pony. Sundown is a mare. Sundown needs belly rubs. Sundown is in the next major dream arc of my Equestria dreamscape.
I am in the process starting my next large piece of digital art. It will be a Spitfire piece, and since I've never drawn the character before or done a color piece of the Wonderbolt uniform I thought it might be a good idea to do a few study drawings of the character and how her uniform might interact with her.
Just finished this piece a little while ago. Starting to experiment a little more in digital. Also starting to get a feel for what the Cintiq is able to do. Made some mistakes but that is how you learn. It took about 7 hours to do, and that includes fixing some mistakes early on in the piece. Live and learn. I used Paintstorm Studio and Photoshop CS3 to create this.
This Saturday I'll be streaming again on Picarto starting at 5:30pm PDT. So tune in for an evening of art, stories and some of the nicest folks on the web. See you then!
