In honor of PeeWee

I finally had time to do a proper tribute, with a reference. I will miss him dearly - Pee Wee’s Playhouse was constantly playing in my childhood home, and my mother’s impressions of him are hilarious and fond memories. He was one of us, the weirdos, the goofs, the creatives, the comedians, the dreamers. He goes with all the love in my heart.

Freelance!

I can’t share this image on my social media because the client hasn’t launched yet, but this was my first official freelance job on Upwork! He wanted a saucy t-shirt design for his donut shop.

It is so nice to do a piece of art and be paid by the hour. As much as I enjoy painting and drawing, it is hard to convince folks to even pay $40 for eight hours of work.

Creature From The Lagoon of Love

It’s finally happening, folks! The mature comic I’ve been trying to get going for ages is on the way at last.

About seven or eight years ago, I started writing a romance novel about the Creature From The Black Lagoon. I was about a third of the way finished with it when Shape of Water came out and I gave it up. Since then, supernatural romance has become incredibly popular, go figure....
