here's a neat one I dug up! Back when I did the Couch Sitter story, I had an extra page planned where Eve did a little ice skate jump. It ultimately seemed like filler to me, and I wasn't very happy with the art, so I dropped it. But it's cute, I think, in 2014!

JULY ARCHIVES: Bonehead Marek

At some point I wanted to do a parody of all the Beach Party movies from the 60s, to the great enjoyment of 3 people. This idea morphed in a beach murder mystery, and eventually the haunted mansion mystery in "OCTOPUS DIE". Somewhere in those early stages I drew Marek as Bonehead.

Here is a veeeery old drawing of Hanna's stoner friends! I imagined Marigold as a much more flowery, ditzy hippie early on. Sean was a little more rugged, but just kinda dirty looking. And Eff Nocka is Ian Jones-Quartey's character from NOCKFORCE, which he kindly let me use.

Hey Patrons! In the month of July I will be posting a bunch of old (vintage?) OP sketches I recently uncovered. Hope you enjoy these! They were all drawn between 2008 and 2011, though specifics have become unclear. This one is from an abandoned beach storyline that, I guess, would've featured a ton of characters! Personally I like Marek's tiny trunks the best.

Some people have remarked that my pencils are VERY tight. They are! I just find it easier to solve all of my drawing challenges in the pencil stage, so I'm free to ink without stress. The roughs are where most of the energy come from, even though they are decidedly crappy drawings!
