And we end on a splash page with a real sigil for dispelling curses. Funny thing is, when I searched for some kind of purifying circle, I almost used one meant for reversing curses. Even my attempt at silly plot contrivances nearly end in the misuse of magic. Who knows what could have happened? I guess we'll never know, because five pages in plenty.

You ever try to explain and it only comes out worse out loud? Lots of people do. It's a pretty common writing trope.

Angela is a little more free to be herself when Winifred isn't around. So what if that means her insecurities are expressed through an overly cutesy need for validation? It beats her usual sullen silence. But enough about that, it's time to welcome yet another ridiculous brand name to the Underburbs Universe: Whipsy-Doo™!

And before you take me to task for drawing a pie that lo...

Okay, so this is a bit further than I usually take this kind of thing. All I can say is that we’re in dire straits when Bel starts to worry. Not a word of this to DeviantArt, by the way.

Time to finish off an American holiday week with an impromptu series! This pastoral setting and highly suspicious cowbell are not what they seem. Except for the cowbell. It looks absolutely cursed, and there’s no good reason to sling any cowbell around one’s own neck. Come on, Angela, think!

I guess she’s having trouble thinking at the mooment.

I really enjoy the character interactions when I make these things. That and incredibly literal sound effects. If you’ve never read any of John Allison’s work (Scary Go Round, Bad Machinery), I highly recommend it. He has a very natural writing style involving characters with normal problems during highly abnormal situations. It’s a big influence on the Underburbs.

This started out as a run of the mill, Sabrina-inspired bimbo drawing. One color job later, Angela is a retro, space age bimbo from Planet X!

Don’t spend too much time roaming spooky castles with Bunnymorphosis activated. It could have troubling side effects.

On an actual gameplay note, I’ve made it to the end of the game and crafted the Not-Crissagrim. Stomping enemies to death with bunnygirl high heels is no longer viable or necessary, as I now grind nearly everything in my path into a fine mist by walking forw...

I got back into Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night now that they finally patched the Switch version. It still kinda runs like ass and lacks the shadow effects and texture detail of literally every other version, but it doesn’t crash anymore, so... yay? Anyway, the sou— shard you get from the bunnygirl/succubus is still one of the best in the game, both in terms of transform...

Wild Shelley Pie

Once I iron out the details, the Thanksgiving special will be my first real attempt at a food TF. Angela’s apple pie that she “made with her own two hands” (and yes technically a witch does use her hands when casting spells to assist her cooking) turns an unsuspecting Shelley into a bloated, pie-like mass with whipped topping hair and filling oozing from her mouth! The hard part (no pun i...

So I tweeted out my hastily drawn Satina comic, and it got a thousand likes over the course of two days. This is why I get a little uncomfortable about some of my appearances/speaking gigs at my alma mater. It’s clear that I need the younger generation a hell of a lot more than they need me. Being talented on top of being born into the current level of technology and social media is such an i...

It’s possible that some you may be among the 4.8M views of Satina Wants a Glass of Water by Hannah Daigle. She’s currently a junior at Montserrat College of Art and already has a multi-million view cartoon under her belt. Anyway, I wanted to do a fanart of her charming demon spawn and human dad, but a simple pose and wave wouldn’t do it justice.

So I’ve been enjoying Luigi’s Mansion 3, up until the end. King Boo is horse shit. It’s one of those bosses where you have to wait through wave after wave of attacks until a very specific moment where you can finally hit him. Miss that moment due to Luigi’s incredibly slow movement? Hit a decoy? Well, you’ll have to cycle through all of those attacks again! If that’s not enough, the...
