However, I wouldn't feel right skipping scenes like this as I feel they are an important part of the story’s build-up.

The development progress for episode 6c is going pretty well so far.

270 static renders are done. I mentioned in the last devlog that I hoped to finish this by Christmas or the end of this month, but I think that was a bit too optimistic. Well, unless you want me to cut some scenes to make it happen, but obviously that's not a good idea....

After working on the wallpaper for the last few days, I revised some dialog and reviewed the episode from beginning to end.

After that, I took a day off, and finally, two days ago, I started writing and rendering episode 6c.

So now... 25 static renders are already done, and more will follow.
