Look, Sage tries to behave, honest!
All through the summer, the timid snake had been working as hard as they could. Getting a job near campus was imperative, since Sage's parents weren't happy to wake up to an empty house & an enrollment announcement for such a "morally-repugnant" school, quickly cutting any financial ties.
