Went with grayscale multiply again this month, with more top layer for the highlights. I need to practice getting the gray levels right, especially using more White so the native colors can shine through, and then add highlights ontop. otherwise it all looks too dark. But also wanna fiddle with other brushes and styles too, find a few more guides to follow, but so far this style works the best ...

Did something a little different this month with using a more direct upgrade from my inked+shaded style, blocking in the shadows and blending out the lines. I like the result, but feel it's a little too similar to my shading style and a lot of effort, heh. But I might try a variation sometime!

For the experimental paintings this month, downloaded a new brush from an artist I like and tried to follow his tutorial with it! Went pretty good, I think! Not nearly as fast as him of course, but it was fun playing with a single brush, two colors, and just manipulating the size and hardness of the strokes to get different effects.

Last but not least, the experimental paintings! I used just the round paint brush this time, with varying opacity, plus a little highlight/shadow airbrush at the end. Takes a lot of patience to do the fur especially, so I might practice that again sometime :)
