The month is just about over, and for once the end of the month isn't on the weekend or a Holiday! That doesn't mean much to most people, but when I try to cash out my money from Patreon either patreon itself or just my bank won't process it on weekends or holidays... but I also owe my rent on the 3rd of each month, so it can be a pretty tight schedule.

I probably redrew the rough layout for that first panel like... 4 times. It's just a tough angle to draw... ultimately I'm pretty happy with how it came out. I also created a reusable tentacle background that I'm sure I"ll get plenty of use out of before this chpater is finished.
We're kind of in the "Wild West" from this point on... just an orgy of different positions and ideas. So...

This was actually one of the more difficult pages to draw of this comic. There's a lot more background work than usual for this comic, as well as fitting multiple characters into the seating and everything. Although it was kind of fun to draw the food.

Another late update because I was at a movie premiere. So I saw the new Avengers! I really enjoyed it, but I feel like if you haven't kept up fairly well with the Marvel Cinematic Universe up to this point, a lot of it will probably make no sense. The second page of Side Dishes this week! For anyone who didn't read the author's comments yesterday, Kenneth (who writes the Side Dishes 2-II series) has asked me to forego drawing him the SD 2-II pages I owe him in favor of drawing more pages for this series. So look forward to two pages a week for the rest of this series.

Some times I worry about the pacing of this comic... one chapter usually takes about 3 months to finish. But then again, that's not really uncommon for webcomics. There's a lot of artists out there who work on a single chapter for over a year. Lol although the art in those series is usually a lot better than what I put out, so I guess there's always a trade off.
