A dump of the highlights of the many 3d stuff i've been tackling with since the last post

I have a story idea for Sonic grooming an Amy chao and Amy doing a Sonic chao, and how Sonic's Amy chao has this "problematic" area on its... her... whatevz, chest. Amy acts fast out of pure instinct and takes the chao away from Sonic saying "it can't be yours!". Sonic just doesn't get what's going on. Some time passes and the Amy chao gets even more adult so the problematic chest actually grow...

Physical booklet exclusive sketch finished

So this is how the first ever requested sketch right into a Finally booklet looks like.

New SKETCHFEST!!! Well, sort of.

Not in the scope of the previous one as i don't want to drop working on 3d stuff on a daily basis. But this commission page in a Finally booklet i sold recently, went so well, that i feel i'm ready for some hand drawn material again.

So, drop me your greatest ideas, any genre, any (SONIC!) character combinations, any activities between them, and when there's a decent number of these ideas...

Banner animation progress

Not new material, i just never shared this latest state right before i jumped back into 3d again this May. It has a certain livelyness to it, even compared to the best 3d rendering possible, that warrants finishing it at some point, but at this support level i don't seem to be able to find the time.

I decided to break work on Rouge up a bit, and had a Sonic-y mood, so finally he is in progress now as well.

I know i know, where are the colors, they will eventually come when all the major modelling tasks are greenlit. (if i start texturing before that, i can most likely throw out everything once i spot something to be changed on any of the models)

Showcasing these models in motion. Some level of frame by frame cloth simulation is going to be applied to them to make them look just a bit more lively.

Ouch folks, i'm after an anything but lazy two weeks marathon of trying to breathe life into Rouge's boobies. My current PC is just not going to do it. The simulation time for this 7 seconds test was 4 hours (now think about the many minutes of tests that lead to this working pair of breasts). Of course i'm still messing around with a ~2008-ish dual core Celeron... er... help me?

I'm not dead / outa bizz / whatevz

I wasn't feeling good, althroughout August, and the hot weather didn't help either. I was sticking to a sadly slow, but steady work on Rouge however. But i was at just such a zombie state, i couldn't bring myself to do any reports on the progress. I'm changing that up in the following days.

A quick and dirty attaching of her head which itself is still ought to be finetuned. I really wanted to spice her more up before uploading this but i gotta go away for a week from everything, and i didn't want to leave you in the myst with no info. I'll be back with full work force!

Poor Knuckles gets delays because Rouge's body is being worked on at the moment.

I just started forming her legs and arms, they lack much of the small nuances that would render them as arm looking arms and leg looking legs, but i felt they are at a stage when it won't be so embarrassing to share.

As of right now her hands are not much bigger than the human proportions, somewhat toon...

Blaze head WIP

As always fur/hair is highly in progress, all the other things are just moderately.

Not far from being done, but it will be better to move onto an other character for now to keep the momentum going.

Skin-slide and softbody demos are coming when i have an other go with this.

Cream head WIP / The first "flap test" that looks somehow

There are quite a couple available methods for things like this, i finally found one that does a decent job. Can actually have fun with it in real-time right in the editor, we'll see if i find a way to give you a sneak peak in motion.

Bunny ears tests

Don't pay much attention to the actual ear model, it was just a quick placeholder for this test. I tried if i already had for example the Cream model present (working on her from today by the way) if i could have her ears flap around with much ease once rigged, and the answer is yes.

This month was a little heavily loaded for me, i'm big into growing my own vegetables and stuff, a mild little ~150 square meters piece of land is under my control all summer without and outside help you know... But the bulk of the work is done don't worry, from now it is more and more just watching how everything grows and back to some work on sexy stuff.

A silly quick and dirty booby test animation

I wanted to test how good or bad the topology is of Amy's breasts. A 3d model, or geometry as it is often referred to in the trade, is this wireframe of polygons, or deeper down, edges and their end points (vertices). Amy's 3D head progress

I haven't yet tried to do rotoscopy over it, but i'm getting the feeling this is the closest i can get (while not causing serious structural silliness in her anatomy) to my handrawn style of Amy.

Those eyes are proper eyeballs by the way... if anybody is interested :D.. Amy Rose anatomically possible in real life confirmed. Sort of.

A little 3D test of some kind

While creating 3d bits and bobs for rotoscopy reference, i came across some of my old work. And they are actually not that useless as i remembered. This one's just a quick test as i had the urge to quickly try some flexibility with simulated wind on Amy's spikes, the model itself will go through a number of artistic changes according to the way i've been drawing Amy since i've left this to gath...

A really cool new animation preview is coming, this time more or less showcasing the entire motion sequence, for now here is the previously mentioned still frame of Amy lying on her back in a kitty pose.

SO... this is the last WIP of the previous SketchFest winners. Be on the lookout for the coming new sketch poll! These WIPs are going to be finished during the poll's run, and released to all supporters of any tier.

Till then i'm working a bit more on my current animation project.

Animated revamp efforts of my campaign's signature Amy picture...

...for both elevating the sexy/cutey feel around here, and also for demonstrating what an animated SketchFest could mean if we reach that height in support.

There will be three stages in this particular updated campaign banner, the first is the lying on her belly stage, then the secondary pose with her head turned towards us, and during the third stage she rolls over onto her back and ass...
