Dizzy Hearts Collage (part5 - final)

Finished adding Eleyna, Yuliana, and Queen Lend. Afterwards I began overpainting with highlights, pushing a lot of blues, as well as tweaking them to fit on the background, which is just a cloudscape, but accented with lots of snow in the distance or streaking close to the camera to help sell the depth of the art.

We have some new artists helping me do Backgrounds while I focus more on CGs. This was a BG that I did for Dizzy Hearts, a redesign of the original Irraere's Lab/Library. Fitting much better with the rest of the art and the architecture of Mercilia's Manor.

Part 3 is lines and underpaint. It's more than just flats as I prepare each character for colors, coloring the lines and setting up the final composition. Each character is on a separate layer, with each character linework along with their colors as separate layers. Later lines, and colors will be collapsed into one layer.
