Check out these all-new screenshots, each teasing some of our newest trailer scenes, levels, and upcoming footage!
These were captured from a brand-new Steam build for our developers. We're currently investigating mysterious new lighting issues in this build, which are somehow not present when the game is running in Unity.
In the new screenshots, you can see the Attic Atelier world,...

As we continue refining the game and preparing content for our next trailer (which is now in its final stages before editing), we often need to revisit older level saves and bring them up to the standards of the current game state.
For instance, we've done so here. This level is named 'Maritime Mosey' and is set in the Haddock Harbour story theme

Howdy!
It's been a long time since we announced a new trailer would begin production. In fact, too long! We started to create scenes and record test footage for the trailer many months ago but ultimately felt that the game wasn't ready for another public reveal yet. However, that's since changed.
It's been over two years since we've shown you an official, proper, cohes...

Hello!
Some of you may have noticed that our usual Recapped development post has not already gone out this month on its intended date. Rest assured, it’s still coming and has even been drafted in advance.
The upcoming post is quite large, with many things to retroactively sift through and organize from our progress last month. We’ve been very productive!

As a special Halloween treat, we're sharing a new spooky-style track from the game! This one is titled "The Haunting Hour" and has everything you'd need for a dark and ghoulish level!
The artist, Thomas Voets, describes the track:
It's a blend between synthwave and orchestral. It pulls [inspiration] from various sources, such as Luigi's Mansion (the 'bloopy' synth...

We have two screenshots to share with you this month! We sometimes like to assemble fun little scenes and dioramas for Stuffy, and we also try to test our Cosmetics, Props, and lighting in them.
We've been having loads of fun with the Design Tool, Camera settings, and the many new Cosmetics added to the game recently... so, these little scenes are the result of that!

In one of our earliest team builds of the game (2020), some of the developers played around with the tools to test physics objects interacting with each other... and just to be silly, of course!
Here you can see the very old Stuffy model, default background, skybox, placeholder textures, and a debug menu meant for testing serialization and undo/redo/pause.

In early 2021, we explored a few new ideas for switches. Aside from the standard set of levers and buttons, we thought of adding a pressure-activated 'plate', which would output a signal based on how hard it's hit or how heavy the object sitting on it is.
Ultimately this was scrapped (for now, at least), as it proved a bit too challenging at such an early point in development!
