Beach Girls Time Lapse

I, for so long, intended to do a Rumors album cover parody with Quinn and Danny acting out the dance of their real life counterparts as a splash image. This ended up being way more fun. It took four days, and it involved a lot of tinkering with colors. I'm exponentially more happy with this than I ever pictured I'd be with my original idea.

I could not figure out how to get 'dim interior lighting' to look right to save my life. It wasn't until I did the Emoji Witch faux ad for Facebook, where I played around with purple and orange shading, that I finally got the results I was expecting. Mostly. No comic is ever 100% what I see in my head, but this got close enough.
