I'm looking at working on some more of the Flex Slot stuff. I realized I never really established what the second flex slot was going to be for this month. I wanted to have a bit of exposition here with Hannah explaining her motivations. In a very early concept of this script I had Hannah telling this to Tara. But I ended up deciding to jump straight into the "date" with Hannah and Mikell and skip over the extra build up.

I wanted to continue the theme of Mikell always getting too overwhelmed when he is with Hannah, but with a slightly different result this time. He did manage to last slightly longer than last time (making it past the initial touch), but not by a lot. And I thought it would be fun to see Hannah's reaction to the surprise of a shot in the face.

I really like doing these smaller zoomed in panels for these two characters. Always feels a little more intimate and passionate to me. I think it helps with the pacing and flow of scenes like this.

I did the sketches for these pages before I was knocked out of commission for a while there. I was really happy with how Hannah came out in the last panel here. I think it's one of my favorite pics I've done of her.
