Yamask's evolution, Cofagrigus, will trap grave-robbers inside themselves iron maiden-style and turn them into mummies. Both the anime and game are unclear on how cofagrigus actually opens itself, so i'm improvising here.

Redesign of the princess villain. Hopefully she doesn't become too 1-dimensional. I'm planning the story so that if you view it from her perspective, she's like the quintessential Fairy Tale Princess protagonist. Lost Princess of a fallen country, trying to restore her kingdom, on a quest to find an ancient artifact, etc...
