Thanks to the wild success of the patreon, we've been able to raise $12 towards a better water shader in the game. I haven't even tried it out myself yet but I am so psyched that I just had to share the previews here immediately. Complete with white ripples around the edges, transparency options, and it even distorts everything beneath the water. Unbelievable.

A lot of things have been added to the game this week.
Check out the little speech bubble. It allows characters to say quick statements to Benson without the need to click on them. They usually spell the words out loud here like normal, but certain words have been pre-recorded. So when Norton's speech bubble reads 'greetings', you will hear his lovely voice saying the same....
New years! And a new progress video. There's a lot of new stuff now. Most importantly are Benson's animations. The convenience store shows kind of a glimpse of what the game will look like when it's complete. A lot of the assets you see however are greybox 3D stuff or beta sprites. Ignore them please. please

Here's an early look at the next Adventure Boy game in development. It's a 2D world inside a 3D engine! You can move a lot more freely in this one, as the items you collect will give you abilities, and let you traverse the environment better. I plan to make this a much more vibrant, living world, with things happening and characters going about their lives in the background.

Behold! It's the copyright infringing alternate-version of the Alien video. This one uses sound clips and music from the original film it parodies.
Fun fact -- this cartoon was inspired by the 30-second commercials interspersed throughout the Robocop films. Particularly the Johnny Rehab animation. So now you know.
