I’ve been overly optimistic on when animations will be “finished” in the past. I don’t want to go too far down the rabbit hole and not post any content here in the meantime. So here’s a quick image of Livewire, who will be the subject of that animation.

The Granite Lady supposedly is Plastic Man’s most frequent foe, though that’s not saying much. If there’s one image though that’s almost entered pop culture, it’s the frame I’ve recreated here, where the newly empowered Shelia Sorrell gets the hero in pretty comprised position. It’s fun as a proto-dom kind of image. If I was going to do her origin, I may as well do that too.

This is pretty much a redraw of the original origin of The Granite Lady. No she did grow to be 8 feet tall, nor did she shred her clothes while transforming. The dialog is lifted straight from the comic with just a couple new words though.

The Masters of the Universe reboot ended on a cliffhanger, but the series is implying that Teela is a powerful force in her own right. If nothing else it would be cool to see her "have the power" at some point.

I had a couple hours in a waiting room to kill so I did a pencil test for a hair growth idea I had knocking around. I think the effect would work better if the figure was more cartoon-y. The stiff neck motion stands out more than the effect now that I've watched it on repeat.
