Release Day Update

I am really not sure when today's comic will be posted. I wish I could give you a better ETA than that, but I actually have a lot going on today. The comic is pretty much ready, there are just a couple of pages to finish, but then we have to proofread and there are often quite a few last minute tweaks.

WIP - House Testing

So picked up a couple of houses, a rural block (yes, a whole block), and a few new apartments during all the sales going on in November and December. We will eventually make use of them all, of course, but the first one is going to be used for the Valentines comic.

And here it is! It came with a bunch of cameras already set up, which is normal, so most of the renders are from those camera...

I looked around for a while, trying to find a bong or a hookah that I wanted for this upcoming chapter. I kind of wanted a bong more than a hookah, but I settled on this hookah because it was the nicest prop that I could find. Or, at least, it was the one that fit my vision of what I wanted the best. :)

I have found over time that just rendering for longer doesn't really address that. It can if you let the render go long enough, but I don't think we can afford to have pages take 6 to 8 hours to complete. :P

Release Day - Status Update

So there's still about 5 pages left to render, and they are averaging about 5 hours per page.

Unfortunately, I have plans later this evening and I won't be available that late to finish the comic. So I will post it first thing tomorrow morning.

My apologies for the delay. On the bright side, this chapter is 30 pages long so you'll get some extra comic out of it. :)

Today we will be releasing Chapter 45 of Bim U. There is still quite a bit of work left to do on this chapter, however, so it will be posted much later today. Probably about 12 hours after this post.
