Here are a selection of progress shots from the second half of the animation. These images are every 10 renders, so there are actually approximately a 100 renders in total for each animation. Those renders are loaded into Hit Film Express as an "image sequence", and the software strings them together into an animation.

This has been on my mind for a bit. Right now the main thing to archive in the Premium Archives are the pages of Bimstigram - Jackie. There's not a lot of point to archiving the RAW pages that I share on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, because those are already in the RAW archives.

The RAW renders for Chapter 13 of TBND 3.
I don't have a lot to say for this set. I had quite a bit of fun playing with Pixie's eyes and trying to do the "heart eyes" thing. It turned out OK, but it's not perfect. Well... maybe a little better than OK. I assumed, incorrectly, that I could just draw over the texture and make her pupils heart-shaped instead of round. That didn't work though...

I might have to stop using this set for pinups. I love this set. It's a gorgeous bedroom with lots of really nice details. The lighting is beautiful, especially with the sun streaming in through the window. However, these 4k renders each took nearly 20 hours to render. That's almost 80 hours of rendering time just for this pinup set alone.

So after posting today's comic earlier this morning, I got together with some buddies and we went for a 5.5 km hike along some of the trails that are available in our city. After that we went to a burger joint that I had never been to before.
It's a make your own burger place, and it was ridiculously delicious. Each table has plastic coated, 1-page menus with all of the available options....

I really enjoyed doing this year's summer comics. I had quite a bit of fun doing the Canada Day one. I was intentionally trying an entire comic of all full pages. It quickly grew to be larger than I expected, which didn't surprise me. It was a good thing that I already knew that I was going to spread it out across July 1 and July 4.
