It has been a super hectic month for me, honestly - I thought I'd be back into the swing of things by now, but between the move, unpacking, a trip to France (in the name of transparency, my partner and I are going to have to go long-distance for a while), attending a wedding, and some personal stuff, I haven't had as much time to work on maps as I'd have liked. I haven't even been able to scrat...

Hi folks!
Continuing the recent trend of maps to help fill the empty space in Barovia, this week we have a lovely little hovel in the forest. You could either have this serve as the home of one of Curse of Strahd's many NPCs, or invent an encounter of your own - perhaps the party stumble upon this empty hovel and find the fire and candles still lit, but there's no sight or sound of a liv...

Hi folks!
Another random encounter map this week, to help with all the river crossings in the module that don't actually have battle maps, but which seem like good locations for random encounters.
I was hoping to return to posting maps every Saturday or Sunday once I finished moving, but the adjustment period has been much slower than I expected. To add to this, I was meant to upl...

This week, we have Bildrath's Mercantile. I've heard so many stories of players picking fights with Bildrath (and rightly so - he's not a very nice man), and while a lot of these players back down when his nephew emerges from the stockroom, I imagine some don't. Well, now I've made a map for that scenario!
I hope you like it!
I won't be home for a few days next week, but I'm going...

Even during my first pass at making maps for Curse of Strahd, I felt that reusing the map for the Church of the Morning Lord in Barovia Village didn't make sense for Vallaki. Vallaki has a higher population, and is ruled by a man who will stop at nothing to persuade the people of the town that "All will be well". Given that people often seek shelter and protection in churches, it makes sense th...

Hi folks!
Right now I'm working on a map for St Andral's Church.
I've often said that I don't like that the book advises you to reuse the map for the Church of the Morning Lord in Barovia, since the village of Barovia is a much smaller settlement than Vallaki, and I always imagined that...

I've provided versions of this map with and without Rictavio's Wagon, and you can find my tokens for Rictavio's Wagon here, if you'd prefer to include the wagon as a token that can be moved in your virtual table top. The token also has an interior, should your party be brave enough to enter.

I'm going to be honest, folks - I am amazed at the growth I've seen in this Patreon since I finished Castle Ravenloft. I just want to thank you all again for signing up - it really does mean an awful lot to me, and it gives me a lot of hope for the future.
I'm moving house this month, so I'd like to apologize in advance for the fact I might not be quite as productive as usual - I'm still...

This one is simple enough - I just wanted to separate it from Ulrich Mansion due to the size of the pen itself. I had to do maths to figure out the size of the pen, since we're not given its size in the module, only that there are 50 skulls and they're all 10ft apart. I think this technically has 52 skulls, but we'll overlook that for now... I also drew a goat skull asset with a half-b...

This one was a bit of a challenge - I really wanted to try to convey just how overgrown the garden of the Mansion had become in the years since Berez was destroyed. I hope you feel I did it justice!
I'm still working through updating all the old maps to fit the current formats and style - you can check the compendium post to see how far I've gotten so far!

Some of you already saw on the Curse of Strahd subreddit a few days ago that u/splashed_potato put together a Castle Ravenloft build for Foundry VTT using my maps, and they were kind enough to provide this build for the community! This features every level of the castle on a single scene, with walls, lights, doors, windows, and stairs all set up for your convenience, plus a pretty nifty macro f...

I can't begin to tell you how liberating it is to work on something that isn't Castle Ravenloft.

Castle Ravenloft's Dungeons and Catacombs concludes my second ever Complete Curse of Strahd Map Pack. I'll be tackling some missed spots in Berez soon, as well as some random encounters and community s...

Edit 08/01/2022:
This edit mostly serves to provide WebP files with transparent backgrounds for the upper dungeon, and to remove the stairs from K79 - as these stairs feature an encounter whereby an illusion appears midway up or down the stairs from the landing. I thought it best to avoid splitting the stairs in two, so the party will be able to see what's happening if yo...

Edit 08/01/2022:
It was pointed out to me on Reddit that I'd misread the height of the roof over Ravenloft's Rooms of Weeping and the guard towers along the parapet! So, I've reuploaded the maps to reflect the correct heights, whereby the guard towers look over the roof.
It was also mentioned that it might be a good idea to include versions of the map that remove ...

This floor took a little longer than it could have, largely due to the amount of assets I tried to create for it, and my insistence on mapping the tower in the treasury (I have provided the upper floor and the roof of the treasury as tiles for Foundry and within JPEGs of the whole floor, so use whatever works best with your set-up!). It took a lot of work, and I imagine most folk won't...

The files with transparent backgrounds for this one are WebP files, as the PNGs were, as I expected, somewhat unwieldy. If there's serious demand for it, I can provide the PNG files as well, though I suspect most folk won't want to deal with files that robust.
I've provided a cobweb overlay that you can use in Foundry as an overhead tile so that whe...

Edit 20/12/2021: The downside of tackling Ravenloft floor by floor is that sometimes I miss a detail because it isn't referred to until later in the notes for the castle. The stairs in the north section of the chapel are made of wood, and this is important because it's meant to make it impossible to sneak up on the Strahd zombies - for some reason the stairs are mentioned in K1...

I tried to put in as much detail as possible into this one, to the point that I actually had to draw some of the assets you see here myself, and spent a lot of time in Photoshop cobbling together others from various parts of Forgotten Adventures assets - I'm particularly proud of the treasury, which features almost every object listed in the module. I also included tokens for the illusory feast...

For the second part of Tsolenka Pass, we have the bridge! Up next, we have The Amber Temple, and then on to Castle Ravenloft. I'll likely release Ravenloft on a floor-by-floor basis, due to the unholy size of the place - after that, aside from supplementary locations, that will be my second Complete Curse of Strahd Map Pack completed!

This one took a little longer than expected, as Forgotten Adventures were just about to release a Vrock token when I was getting close to the finish line. Unfortunately, there are limits to what I can share from the Forgotten Adventures catalog, s...

This one proved a little trickier than I was expecting - the level of detail I've been pushing for recently caused Dungeondraft to struggle a lot during the process, as each level of this map contains thousands of assets. I also had some trouble with getting the layers right for use as regular JPEGs and as tiles for Foundry - my current system relies on duplicating certain areas to tailor them ...
