Woomy

A while ago in my discord I talked about how I wanted to draw some more humanoid feet. I've finally got around to it and drawn some more woomy.

There's still a lot I want to change with this drawing such as adding some sock tugging, discarded booties and perhaps a change of hairstyle, but for now I feel as though this sketch does the job. ^^

Animation WIP - Kneading

Here are a few more developments of different scenes in the animation. All of them, although rough, hopefully example what they are supposed to convey.

Scenes with a lot more subtle movements can often be quite challenging, such as the legs twitching and toes curling off the edge of the bed.

I currently have a some more scenes in a hugely rough state that I have not yet posted, but ...

I wasn't 100% sure how happy I was with this piece when I finished it, but upon further reflection of this piece, I'm quite happy with how the shading turned out. It was nice to create some harsher shadows on the characters from bright fluorescent bulbs. Plus, who doesn't want to be forced to huff...

Sketch Request - SMUG Bugs Bunny

Since MultiVersus is a trending game right now, it seemed fitting to take this sketch request. I've never drawn Bugs before, but I've always had a keen eye following him wherever he steps in the media he's in.

Sometimes, I wonder if the illustrators of these cartoon characters with BIG paws and SMUG auras are in on it.

"Some Narehate are more hands-on than others..."

I'm very pleased with the outcome of this piece. The red colours pop in a really pleasant way. I'm also happy to have completed a more "zoomed-in" piece that focuses on the area of action, rather than just illustrating the character's whole body.

I've restructured the initial sketch for Morgana to create a more smug, looming feeling. There's still quite a bit to do on this drawing as I'm still playing with the shading / lighting and background combinations.

On one hand, I'd wanted to have a more faithful background to Persona 5 (all red, whites & blacks), but on the other hand I'm always keen for a background that is tailored ...

Ralsei Display

A few different drawings I completed for a friend's smart watch display.

This drawing was the first time I ever used the symmetry ruler and it felt very useful to use for a project like this. It also made me realise (if I am trying to draw symmetrical) how unsymmetrical my lines actually are.

I may also be using this as my phone background >.>;
