I made this video to stop the confusion about the firmware update but Earfun asked me not to publish it. They are afraid even more people would return their speakers as return rate is already high according to them.
I am sorry for all this, I just wanted to offer the best possible but with all the problems now I should have better abandoned this project before.

Here are my personal EQ settings for the Tribit Stormbox Blast which I enjoy more than the presets. I simply call them "indoor" and "outdoor" as they work well for those purpses I think.
You can vary the values to your own taste, especially bass and treble. Mids should be already quite balanced like that. If you want indoor to have even flatter bass, keep the 50hz band rather at 0dB...

I found a nice bottle holder which works really well with the UBOOM L on the bike which I wanted to share for those who maybe also intend to use their speaker for biking etc.

Just wanted to hear how the Tribit would perform against the much larger Partybox and if it would make sense to shoot a public video . Thanks to my open microphones I was able to listen and shoot this video to share my experience with you afterwards. Let me know what you think. I think it’s clearly hearable which one sounds best or worst. The PWR05 is actually a boxy a joke, while the Anker comes shortly after. I am actually quite impressed by the performance of the Tribit. Although it loses bass slightly above 3/4 it still remains perfectly controlled with no hints of distortion just mids being pushed a bit too much at levels close to maximum. I will try to optimis...

Putting the Tribit Stormbox Blast against the Anker Soundcore Motion Boom Plus after unboxing. Keep in mind that I had to record audio with a 6dB lower gain than usual to avoid any clipping and distortion due to the heavy bass of these speakers. If you listen over the Free Pro 2 with my reference tuning increase volume 2 steps above 50% to get more or less the correct loudness level.
