I got the idea for this picture from my early brainstorming stages for Basement Busk. I was gonna animate Gildedguy walking through a large dressing room, with multiple performers getting ready for the show.
I eventually had to reduce the number of characters for timing reasons, which lead to Penny being the sole performer. Well,...
A day ago we received enough support to match what I had earned off of tips on my live stream! $300/mo is the amount that really encouraged me to go all-in on creating these projects back in August.
Since the last milestone (2 months ago), 22 new patrons have joined us. I've already started releasing those speed paints, so expect them to come out every month.
1. You can pick as many choices as you want, but 2-3 choices gives me the best data.
2. Although it's not the deciding factor, the more popular projects can be prioritized higher on my backlog.

Ever since I released the Falcomaster video, I've been drafting up ideas for a full series. My biggest hurtle is putting together the main plot threads in the story. But I'm having a ton of fun designing the characters!
I hope to start actual producing the episodes after Gildedguy vs. Bog. Note that it won't be in the typical 20 minute animated episode format, it'll be something a bit more...
Progress on the fight is slightly behind schedule, but the quality is turning out better than expected. This particular scene took me a few days.
Hopefully I can speed up as I get more comfortable animating all those little gloopy blobs!

Thanks to the talented work of Strelok, we've got a new version of Gildedguy vs Jade (which was released a year ago!).
I think it gives the animation a more complete, short-film-y experience. It's definitely a different vibe from my normal music animations, so check it out!

Here's the rough, cleanup, and color filled phases for one of the most complicated scenes from Basement Busk.
The scene from start to finish took me a solid week!
I didn't live stream any of the work since I wanted to keep it a nice surprise.

Yesterday, we hit the goal for Milestone #1, which was to provide enough support to keep Gildedguy.com alive. That means the hosted art and articles will be saved on the internet for all to enjoy for the time being.
All thanks to my 10 very special patrons. We're already close to the next milestone (covering production costs)!
