A few months back I had the incredible pleasure of illustrating a short story by one of the young talents for 100 Story Building. I illustrated a story called Floor is Lava, a harrowing tale of self sacrifice and friendship.
This was such a joy to illustrate. And the book is full of so many wonderful imaginative stories and illustrations to match! What a wonderful project!!!!

she is a beautiful witch with four familiars, each representing elements and seasons.
I went with a very art nouveau Alphonse Mucha style, because I like bringing those elements into comic/cartoon style.
