Some improvements

New Years is coming for me still in California, so I'm thinking a lot about how I want to improve this Patreon and myself as an artist. I've finished my last class online from BYU to get a Bachelor's in Character Animation from CalArts. I ultimately want to open up more about my process and journey as an artist in hopes that my audience can support me over time as I make do with what I have.

Gehn - Yellow

Looks a little like Bowser, but the premise is making dragon lizard men that wear shells or bones for powers. They mix in with other small fuzzy races too, interesting hybrid.

This is a bear I drew for a friend real fast. A bit of slop on the silhouette, I want to find a faster way to lasso select or to wand select the silhouette so I can make a crispy image on the fly. Too bad that it doesn't happen! Oh well, I'm glad with how it came out, and I have a feeling I'll keep improving.

Bear Stand

First pose I made of the Bear's redesign. He's the originator of Kin's (the protagonist) moving orbs in the game. Kin stole the design from a hacked crawler he inspected, and made into his backpack. (Kin's backpack is called The Breakneck, you'll see soon.)

The Bear acts as a secret boss across all six worlds. If you beat him, you get a secret ending and a secret extra 7th world.

Bear Block

Fun cape / cloak idea that I think I wanna refine for concept art in Breakneck. This guy has been a lot of fun to think about and design.
