Fusion Improvisation

This is something I just recorded for a pianist friend of mine. It's basically all chords from F dorian.

New material

Decided to post some snippets of some new Obsidious material, which is still in the process.

This is some quintuplet action based on the diminished scale using some parallel minor(b9/#11) chords.

Guestsolo

Just recorded this solo. It was a session job. Doing a lot of those recently. I’m gonna post more snippets.

Another exercise will be up later today.

Obsidious update

I just wanna give you some exclusive insights to some things: With our band Obsidious we started to work with a singer, which is turning out pretty well! At the same time we are working together with our manager on a time line for our upcoming release dates. We have already booked the studio for a specific time frame. I spend most of my time songwriting right now. I’m excited! ;)

Tier update!

I was looking for a platform to interact with all of you more and I'm happy to announce that I just lounched a new Discord server where everybody gets involved. I also added a new tier for 20$ where I offer interactive group lessons once a month via Discord and of course there is an interactive chat for all the 15$ tiers (and higher) exlclusively.

My Practice Routine

Just wanted to give you guys a little insight about my practice routines at the moment.

Beside songwriting for Obsidious I’m working on my timing and vocabulary. Therefor I’m transcribing and learning jazz solos from some of the most influential jazz players. Saxophone players can shred as hell
