Not my usual sort of thing but between working on comic thumbnails and scripts I have been writing a short story for my own entertainment. It's got boobs!
Anyways, something a little different in medium (if not content) that I was using to sharpen some writing skills.

This year for Meushi's birthday I decided to update her design: change her hairstyle and darken it to a darker reddish-brown than it was before. Trying to hint more at a 90's transforming hero character.
Also Poisonwind originally launched in 2002 which makes her 18 this year so I decided to make it a more risque illustration than the usual.

What started as an art trade with Erasure escalated into my Valentine's Illustration for this year. Coloring and shading Mari (and especially) Slime-kun was a great exercise as well. Not a very detailed one. A lot of these ref sheets just need to be good enough for the upcoming comics so I can stay on model with the characters.
Hilda's costume and a few particulars about her appearance change with each specific incarnation, but this is her basic NEU appearance (which is also the only version of Hilda that leans more into deadpan snark than her usual Smug and Playful)...
