Audrey (Huniepop) cosplay status

Check it out!!! I finished the corset shirt! I have a few more things to add to complete this cosplay but I am so happy with what I've accomplished with it. My first sewing project! Gotta finish it soon... AX is in only a few days!

I had to wait till I got all of my supplies, but I am finally sewing!!! Also, I have less time before I leave for AX... time to get back to work!!!

Pattern pieces cut!

So far, I've gotten all of my pattern pieces cut out. I'm making a skirt for my last minute AX cosplay (sorry it's so hush-hush - I'll announce it soon!)

Starting to Sew

I'm starting on a last minute cosplay project for AX and I'm going to be sewing some of this one!!! Learning something new in a hurry XD More to come!

Getting prepared

Since the last time I tried to go camping and my tent didn't hold up so well in the wind, I just got a new, smaller tent to get ready for my trip to AX. I hope to be able to camp while on this trip - California has such different and varied landscapes - I can't wait to get out and capture more - photos and videos. I feel so inspired by being in different, beautiful surroundings.

Here's my progress on Nami from One Piece. I'm not done yet - still working on some details and accessories. But I can't wait! I'll be taking her to AX. :D

Late night progress

I painted my bikini top tonight! I'm happy with how it came out. Going to wait until tomorrow to try it on. I have a few more props for Nami that I'm going to be making. I think this cosplay will be a lot of fun!

I am almost ready to start painting my bikini top. This is for a cosplay I will be debuting at Anime Expo. Any guesses as to what it is?

Whats next

So, Anime Expo is July 1-4 in Los Angeles...this is in just a few weeks!

I wasn't sure I was going to go until just a few days ago, making any new prep work kind of last minute. 

I'm going to be pulling some different cosplays together and taking a TON of pictures while I'm out away from home. I haven't made any announcements yet about which cosplays I'll be taking. :P

My patterns got here! I'm a tiny bit closer to making Terra! I haven't had much luck yet with fabric, but I'm going to be looking around. I have to be able to find something I can use. :)

Cosplay update

Time is running out! Rewards are due to come out really soon and I still haven't received the adhesive to finish my Leeloo Dallas cosplay. O.o Instead of being late with the cosplay set, I decided to go ahead and shoot Janine Melnitz, from The Real Ghostbusters, and then shoot Leeloo as soon as I can, releasing 2 cosplay sets this month!
