Early on in the career of the Stupendous She-Squatch, Linda Langowski was unable to control her transformations into her furry alter-ego! Angered by the passivity and inactivity of a crowd as they watch a crime taking place, Linda's ire triggers another chemical reaction in her mutated cells... It's SHRRRIPPING time, baby!

Call of the Crystal

Not sure of the context of this sketch, much past there being some kind of link between the Wilds and the Altawomens source of power. All the Alta ladies are out on a girls night when they receive a mystic summons. Quickly, they make for the alleyway behind the restaurant as the transformation starts to take hold. Meanwhile on Hidden Isle, The Wilds heed the same calling.

This page is very much a homage to the art of Jack Kirby. Like quite a lot of you, I made a few crazy lockdown purchases, and one of those was the rare and out of print comic adaptation of 2001 A Space Odyssey that Kirby produced in the 70's. I love the wigged-out space sequences that Kirby drew, so I just had to pay homage on this page.

I don't want anyone to think I've abandoned you! For most of the next few weeks, I'm going to be keeping a lower profile than usual. She Squatch Returns!

Who'd have the luck? Linda Langowski's lunchtime trip to the bank coincides with an armed robbery! She slips away into a meeting room when the shooting starts, but when her body's  fight-or-flight response kicks in a startling metamorphosis is triggered. Then it's the bank robbers' turn to be afraid!
