Just a quick one -- it seems like some people have trouble accessing this video for some reason, not sure why though. I thought I would quickly repost it here to see if that fixes it for folks, perhaps something went screwy with the original link. Anyway, take care!

Yes, you read that right. This video features every single Ocean Software licensed game. You name it, it's here. I don't know if I've done a more ridiculous project than this, but it's finally here after...well, quite a lot of work. There's easily over 100 games here, ranging from some of the best to some of the worst, and they are the games that define the almighty company and made them into s...

Hey folks -- just thought I'd give a little update on the next Wrestling video. I'm happy to say that the script for the look back at the Dream Slam is finally done...it's most certainly been a real treat to cover this show, and to go through all five hours of it. All being well, the video itself should be ready to go next week, but until then, please enjoy the thumbnail I've made. Sorry for th...

Here's a little look at The Light's magnificent Rex, a ZX Spectrum game from 1988 that plays like something an awful lot more modern -- it hardly feels like a Speccy game at all, in fact. Here's the story behind this classic! Enjoy.

Moonstone is one of those games that actually fits the bill of being unique -- it's a bit RPG, a bit beat-'em-up, a bit of tabletop...so many things. Plus lots of blood. It wasn't successful either critically or commercially in 1991, but it's become one of the Amiga's best loved games, and this is it's story. Enjoy!

Enjoy :)

The Bobby Yazz Show! A cool arcade-y puzzle game with a unique presentation that was supposed to come out with lots of fanfare, as part of a new and pretty exciting software label. In the end, we're only able to play it because it was released on a Crash covertape at the end of the Spectrum's life. What happened? Let's find out. Enjoy!

Here's a new one! We're chronologically looking at every Capcom Arcade Port to the ZX Spectrum. There's some real classics along with some stinkers, of course -- but there's a little more, with some unreleased numbers and a lot of U.S. Gold...hell, this is basically another little look at the story of U..S Gold. Oh, and Tiertex too. Enjoy!

Here's a little review of the excellent port of the Sega Master System Sonic the Hedgehog that came out on the Commodore 64 late last year -- while it might not be indicative of what a really good port of this game would have looked like at the time, it's a brilliant bit of homebrew. Enjoy!

A follow-up on the previous video -- how did the Amiga fare with ports of Sega Arcades? Did they take advantage of the extra power that the machine had compared to something like the ZX Spectrum? Well...they were a bit of a mixed bag, as we'll find out. Also features a few other Mega Drive ports, and a look at the possibility of a certain Hedgehog coming to the computers. Enjoy!

Happy New Year you wonderful folk. All being well, I should have not one, but TWO videos for you next week! One of them is already finished, a look at ports of Sega Arcades to the ZX Spectrum. Technos's Renegade was an incredibly influential arcade beat-'em-up, but when it found its way to the ZX Spectrum courtesy of Ocean Software, it quickly became a legend -- so much so that Ocean produced their own sequels to the game...with mixed results. Hey everyone! Here's my latest video. Hopefully you enjoy it.
In 1984, just as Atari was going through a massive overhaul, they released I, Robot -- the first fully 3D arcade game featuring flat-shaded real time polygons. It flopped at the time and was plagued with technical issues, but the game remains something of a marvel that's unique to the Golden Age. Here's a look into t...
