Face animation is important when conveying a character's mood.  Novellus Dea performed voice and face capture using the ViRo Live Face Portal app (available on iOS)

In this short video, you can see my face preview window, my player view window, and my timeline window.  The timeline is used to piece all the animation elements together.

There are many components to making avatars fully touch capable in VR.  It can be quite difficult to keep track of how it all pieces together.  Still, the next update is just around the corner.

Silly Songs with Vex: Pumpkin Spice Edition

Dev Gal here. ^_^  It's that time of year, guys! The leaves are falling, the air turns crisp, and Vex can't stop talking about how much she loves pumpkin spice in frickin' EVERYTHING...even during stream.  So to make things interesting, I challenged her to make up a song about it...while getting her toy buzzed.

NSFW - Full body skin and volume physics coming to Private Spaces

Our squish physics simulate the sensation of soft skin and volume.  This will work with our haptic feedback touch system to give a futuristic aesthetic to virtual intimacy.

This is the face capture helmet I use for all production.  It's designed to keep the weight of the iphone above my head instead of in front of it.  Fantastic design.  The ViRo Playspace merch store sells these.

Novellus Dea is releasing a dream on ViRo Playspace!  Her dream is in full development and due to launch soon.  We'll have more details on specifics as we approach launch.

A New Way to Touch

We're investigating new ways to touch in our Private Spaces rooms.  This video shows how we highlight areas of the body that respond to haptics when you touch them.  The best part is that your online partner can assign each region of their body to individual toys for a fully immersive experience.

There are several layers to how this works.

Private Spaces development is going pretty smoothly

Greetings, late night developer here.
