New Shoots

We are photo and video shooting Sunday and Wednesday coming up so I'll have some fresh content along with some day to day content along the way. We hope everyone has a great weekend. I'll try to post later tonight and tomorrow morning.

I’m fascinating over Ai recently trying to learn more about it. I’m not really a technical guy and would suppose some of you know more about it than I do. I sent these to her for her IG or twitter, but this set should complete the Reflecting Pool gallery from last month. 

During this shoot several people stood around and watched which made us feel a little awkward, but Steph put on a show. One guy insisted on a photo with her, another offered to take her to dinner, and a cop let her use his car as a photo prop.

Chill Time

Full day of work now it’s chill time. She cooks I’ll make a drink. Sometimes I’ll cook. Then we sit outside or watch YouTube. We don’t have cable.

She’s traveling so it’s fun to see what she sends. Clothes don’t do her justice.

I can do both shoots, but they cost money, so I'll start with one at a time:

Phone vs Mirrorless

Canon R5 with an 85mm 1.2 vs an Iphone 14. You can see the difference in the dynamic range, smoothness, and the depth of field because there is no replacing the glass in a good lens. 

Still cameras are coming a long way on phones!

Alexa

I asked Steph years back if I could use her figure to create a Android like being after watching that movie Ex Machina. I thought she would have the perfect figure for some Sci Fi android body. 

Don't laugh this was my first attempt... a project I hope to revisit soon. 

In retrospect I should have just taken more photos of Steph then, instead of saying "Thats all I need" a...

Planes

I know this may not be what you'd like to see, I will have much more interesting shots coming this week. But I was happy with today's shoot. I got enough for a few good portraits like these to add to the project, and a video for her social media.

Gravelly Point in DC

I wish we could have been here for sunset. I may have to come back to get some moody shots. But we got some fun practice shots.

It’s definitely a fun spot if your looking for a good photo area.

Weekend Update

We are traveling today for some work in DC but Steph got in a 6 mile run and some ab work this morning. She’s getting pretty lean. I’m gonna try to get some photos of her tonight and tomorrow. I hope to make it out to Gravelly Point in DC for some portraits. Any requests for photoshoots or themes?

The last shot from Tan Top

Enough of that Ai non sense. I just had to experiment. Here's a real photo from last week's shoot "Tan Top" this was on of the last shots we got. I liked that her clothes were on the floor, as she gave me a im nude and i dont care kind of look. I cant explain the lights, I just liked having them in frame.

Abs & Cutting Weight

She has posted the photo on the right before. This was just a couple years ago when she was competing in fitness shows. She has a really fast metabolism so can lose weight really fast. I dont know why I added the light tubes in the back, I just figured it added something to the shot. Then it evolved into a narrative, thats when I added the headphones and made it about a girl listening to electronic music vibing out in her chill space. Below is my favorite shot from the series.  I may get this one printed on a piece of matte glass.
