In between looks, we took a quick break from the shoot yesterday. I went to get some water and a stool for her to sit on and when I came back in she was re applying some oil in front of the mirror. I instantly saw a cool look. I moved my white balance down to give cool feel to the photos (I don't know why, it just seemed right)

Mesh Suit

All Angles (From the Leather Coat Gallery) Top Tier

For the second image I wanted to crop in to make it less intrusive, but the crop did not work; I really like the pose however. I think the solution is to have the light right above her to give a more flattering lighting solution. But for sake of enjoying every inch of her, I think these photos work. 

What are your thoughts?

Glitter Paint Trio

I posted only one shot from this gallery so far. This was a shoot from 2 years ago now. Steph and a few models wanted to try some glitter body paint with Shay. I came up with a very simple concept ( I was working on another job that day) but I think the photos came out nice. I would of liked to put more time in the lighting (especially back lighting) and the posing.

Latex (gone wrong)

We ordered a look but some of it did not arrive and the suit was a bit too small, we did a half shoot today, but will have to go back to the drawing board on this one once we get the wardrobe right. 

I made a rather funny video of her trying to get in the suit. Steph is fairly small, so usually a S or M fits. they sent an XS.

Dream

One of the shots from "Dream" or "Quiet City"  from our trip to NYC. I had included this originally but took it down because I thought the platform may flag it may of crossed some lines in not being artsy.

Leather Coat

It started sleeting one winter day back in 2019. We had an outdoor shoot planned in the city with a leather coat, getting some urban street photo vibes. We stayed indoors and did this shoot instead. 

Happy Fall

Summer brings excellent beach and pool photo opportunities, but fall is by far my favorite time to take photos. How about you?

Red vs Blue Continued

One of my favorite solo hero or money shots from the shoot. This was the last shot I got before we started packing up. This would probably make it into the print book... 

New work coming this week: maternity shoots, more video work to top tier, and some candid shots. We are also planning October's main shoot. Any recommendations?

This was a full production shoot, which meant I set aside a budget, planned a mood board, hired a model and an assistant, paid for a location, bought small items like makeup, body oil, the one piece suits, then lastly took an hour of the 3 hours we had to shoot to set up the lighting, and stage a scene.
