The hardest part was not making the scenes, but finding an appropriate name. Mirror Street is your typical shady part of the city, where bad things often happen. No one is sure if it's just a normal street hidden by a powerful spell or if it exists as some sort of parallel reality. We might never know...

Fun fact: the shrinking effect is actually way easier to do than the growth effect (those white lines are always hand drawn). It's simply the overlapping of two pictures with different transparencies.
I could do the same for growth but... for some reason, I don't really associate the overlapping with growth. Some 2D artists can do a really cool overlapping growth effect but I rather keep ...
