Using another recolor as the Jungle one to create a scene wasn't that easy today. I was very unsure about what kind of scene to create and it was looking awful most of the time.
I eventually ended with the screenshot above, not a beauty either.. 😅. All rocks used are rocks that will come in this new Cliff Walls Pack.
I'm going to start to make the voiceover now and make scr...

The recolors for these new rocks look quite the same as the others I already made for the other rocks, but came out a bit darker then the others. They still can be mixed and match with the other rocks though.
When looking at rocks in the real world they aren't exactly the same color either. :)

Hi all,
As I felt a bit sick yesterday, I didn't do anything to this week's mods and there fore also couldn't make any updates.
But today I'm modding again, despite the fact that I still don't feel that good..
In the sneak peeks I'm going to share today, you will see all new rocks, all recolors (which are quite the same as the former ones) and an example scene in which I tried to use...

Hi all,
For this week, I will be releasing a last Jungle Cliff pack.
Just as the former pack, there will a raisable and normal full sized Cliff be released. This time though, it's more of a Cliff Wall.
I could find 3 of these in the debug section, but I only like 1 of them as the others seem to be more distance rocks with less detail on them.
So for this week I will lo...

This is for all you lovely people who keep supporting my work for the Sims 4! I've been on Patreon for a bit longer then 1 year now and I never thought that this many people would like to support me.
Some even took a break for different reasons and said they would come back if things were improved on their side and actually came back after a while too! I hope this means they still love the...

Hello all,
I wanted to test this poll thing out as I was aware of the possibility, but never really tried to use it. So let's do that now.
I will make a simple poll, just to see how it works.
I will do something with the result though, but probably not this week already.
So the Question:
Do you think a deco version of the Rocky Tables and Chairs from th...

But eventually you would've find that out yourself too probably :P

This is how the final Thumbnail on YouTube will look!
I think it came out really nice and also shows how these rocks can be used to make diverse looking landscapes.
In this case I choose to make another Jungle scene, but you can make totally different scenes using the other recolors too of course.
I need to do some final things for the upload to be ready tomorrow, but no stress at all l...

As promised earlier today, here a screenshot of the scene I will be showing at the end of tomorrows Mod Showcase video.
Having these rocks in game, makes it really easy to make some good looking Jungle lots in a very short time.
In the video a Sim will also walk underneath the cave passageway in the middle. :)

In this image you will see how it can look when raising a full sized cliff out of the ground. You immediately see why I thought rotating them would create another new cliff too.
Just as the former image, you need to block the Sim's route by placing other objects at the base of the rock, so they won't walk straight through it.
Later today I will also upload a printscreen of my outro scene a...

Just as with the former cliffs, Sims will walk straight through them if the footprint hangs above your Sim's head. In the case of these Jungle Cliffs, this will happen quite fast as they're that large and thus can be raised much higher. To fix the walking-through and to make it look better anyway, you can place all kinds of plants around them to block your Sim's route.
Also, if you don't raise t...

The last sneak peek for today probably as I need to start working on them again.
In this example you see why it could be important to create other matching recolors for these cliffs too. The recolor you see here is the one I created for the first Raisable Rocks - Cliffs pack to match the Get Together world. Those Get Together Cliffs can also be seen in the back of this image. I added some of my ...

(As you can see I shortened the title a bit, as otherwise it becomes to long.. )
Anyway, it's about all the new Jungle Cliffs recolors.
You will notice that one rock doesn't has a base game rock recolor by it's side, this is because there isn't a matching base game rock.
The no-mossy look that came with the group of rocks was a tiny bit lighter then the no-mossy look for these cliffs.

In this second sneak peek, you can see the same rock as you saw on the first, but now 180 degrees vertically rotated. So now you're actually looking at the bottom of the rock.
As I changed the mesh also with just rotating it, the shadow is missing again for both rocks now.
The recolor is also new, although normally it will have a special bump map of it's own too. The bump map on objects ta...

In this first sneak peek image of the Raisable Rocks - JA Cliffs, you can see how the normal Jungle Adventures cliff looks and how the lowered one looks.
Again just as last week's mods, the lowered versions don't have shadows on them, but if you're going to decorate around them, that doesn't really matter that much.
The color of the rocks on the image is also one of the new recolors which ...

I don't have much time now, so Sneak Peeks have to wait for tomorrow morning probably.
So some more info about this week's mods:
First of all, there will be 4 new rocks.
1 Jungle Cliff Lowered (Raisable)
1 Jungle Cliff just Unlocked, so in full size.
1 Jungle Cliff Lowered and Rotated 180 degrees
1 Jungle Cliff (Full size) Rotated 180 degrees.
The rotations could b...

Hello everyone,
Hope you all had a nice weekend? I had, though a bit busy and when I don't have time in the weekend to check if everything went right, then I forget things. This time it wasn't the link on Patreon, but all the download links to all other mods in my YT video description..
No one complaint about it, so no one missed it I think, but I just fixed this by adding all missing links i...

This week it's really not going to be ready in time.
Normally speaking I would upload my new video and mod in about 2,5 hours from now.
But I'm just home from work, have a headache and still need to record my Voice over, make a thumbnail, make the entire video, make the MTS text, make the other texts and upload the mod itself!

So this is how the textures of the Base Game Cliff looked after their adjustments. You can also see now how those will look in game when looking at the former post.
Now I need to work on the video as I don't even have the Voice Over finished yet. After that I need to make the screenshots and videos, record the actual Voice Over and edit the video. So just as last week, I hope I will make it in t...

As mentioned yesterday, creating the mossy look was done by hand...or mouse... anyway by myself in Photoshop.
The Base Game Cliff was the first on which I tried to make it look mossy and on the image you see the process of that.
I started with some roughly painted mossy stripes, but of course it looked way too harsh. In each step I tried to add some more different colors and brush-types an...

In this final Mossy Sneak Peek Image, you see the outcome of the Mossy Outdoors Cliff version. Just as in the Mossy Base Game Grassy Cliff image, I also used an enlarged version in the background, though you can't really see where the top of the normal version ends and the background rock begins...
I used some enlarged version of the mossy group of rocks too. :)
The mossy painting process ...

This is how the Mossy Get Together Cliff version looks in a scene in which the other Mossy Group of Rocks are used too.
Again, this mossy look is again made from scratch when using the 7th recolor as a base. This means that all different Cliff versions won't have exact the same mossy looks. I did use the same kind of technique though for all 4 mossy versions.

This is how the Mossy look turned out for the Grassy Cliff from the Base Game. In this screenshot I also used an enlarged version in the background to give the total scene more depth.
I also added my a Sim to the scene so the size of this rocks can better be seen. The original size of the rock is that of the smaller one in the foreground.

Today a new series of sneak peeks. This time it's about the recolors.
Unlike with the former group of rocks for which I could borrow the Base Game Rock textures, this time I had to try to match the colors as good as possible all by myself in Photoshop.
As you can see in the image above, they match the Base Game Rocks quite good if I may say so myself... 😀

This is the second out of 3 Sneak Peeks I will be sharing today about the Raisable Cliffs I'm working on.
In this image you see them all raised in different heights.
You can also already see that the 2 on the right are a bit bigger then the 2 on the left. This was the case by default, but as you can now resize them in both ways, this doesn't really matter that much.

This is the first out of 3 Sneak Peeks I will be sharing today about the Raisable Cliffs I'm working on.
The way you see them here, is how they will look after placing in build mode. For placing you don't need any cheat codes.

The one next to it on the right, is the Unlocked Base Game Grass Cliff.

Like you can see, EA also uses some sort of a Raisable Cliffs technique, only they can do it much more easier when building a world for our Sims.
With my Raisable Rocks you can accomplish something quite similar, only in my case you'll have to work with the MoveObjectsOn cheat and there fore can only raise them in certain steps.
When I've got them a bit more finished, I will post some Snea...
