Eva in a Dark Forest
Just under a year ago Eva and I visited the redwood forests of northern California and made this image. The light amongst the redwoods is subdued, and the air is rich with the smell of loam and earthiness and evergreens.

Some brief thoughts.
I have been struggling emotionally this week.
I was raised in Texas. I have for many years had a concern about escalating domestic, homegrown gun violence. I am sad that my fears are coming to fruition.
