We were fortunate to have access to a lovely flower garden for shooting for a few years in New York. The light was beautiful, and it was an inspirational set for model and photographer alike. This is a soft portrait of Lil, damp with raindrops.

Nala Flame

Nala's raven locks were short when we first met. She had actually completely shaved her head while on an epic hiking adventure. She now has very long and luxuriant hair. This 2012 portrait is from our earliest days together.

We lived for a few years on a farm in upstate New York. This old log cabin was on the property. The undisputed history is unknown, but old locals we talked to thought the cabin was built on the property in the mid 1800s and was home to slaves or domestic servants.  It is primitive, but it has a remarkable stone fireplace. We will never know, but it provided an interesting set for quite a numb...
