I, (like most of y’all I’m sure) have been feeling really overwhelmed do to this dang bug, and all the stress and uncertainty in the world right now. Not being able to interact with our friends or family, the disruption of routine and normalcy, even just wondering about the future and what will come next is anxiety inducing. I’ve been rereading the series as a way to occupy myself and distract myself from the more troubling thoughts that jump into my head. Even before the outbreak I would do this. Reading about the boys struggles, and their perseverance. It’s been a great source of comfort. From the bottom of my heart, I wanna thank you Ngozi.
