First Off, HOLIDAYS! I will virtually disappear during the week of Thanksgiving and also for two weeks in December. Totally fine if you'd like to lower your patronage now and perhaps renew in 2020. To repeat: There will be little content posted during the holidays and I will not be hanging around the Discord!

Second, feelings! This has been a crazy year--full of highs and lows. I still can't believe I'm done with Check, Please!, a series I've been working on for over 6 years at this point...You've probably noticed that I'm trying to find my footing. Hah, whelp. 😅 

Even though I've announced several projects, I'm still recovering from the all-out push of finishing the webcomic in July. And then doing edits in August. And then doing one last round conventions in the fall. I might be experiencing Check, Please! burnout...Or drawing burnout...Or comics burnout. I don't know. I'm 1000% great otherwise (my birthday was so much fun! SCAD WAS A HIGHLIGHT OF MY YEAR) but this is my patreon newsletter so imma keep it real with y'all. Finishing a series does something to you!

So you might see me illustrating less, talking about superheroes more and definitely investigating royal naval fiction with a new zeal. I'm leaving those soils fallow for a season as I build new worlds for other projects. You'll probably see less Check, Please! too, though I'll talk about it in bursts. (And come March and April. SEESH I'm going to promote the hell out of it.) Overall, I feel grateful and ready to move on from Samwell, and I'm thankful I'll get a long time to say goodbye.

Chirpbook Kickstarter. This month, I'm launching a Kickstarter to fund the printing of The Chirpbook, a smallish book that will collect 900 of Bitty's best tweets. Creating brand new fresh material for this collection has been reinvigorating, especially after having to say goodbye to the main story! Production won't begin until 2020, which means I'm drawing content for the book all throughout November.

Here's a preview of some of the rewards. It's going to be a small campaign. (No limited reward tiers, no need to rush.)

This book is essentially an excuse to stuff more content into the #omgcp world. (Finally getting to illustrate the jack-jumps-over-a-snowbank-scene?? Yippee.)

Updates. And with the Kickstarter, updates! I'm hoping to share 4.16 (the end :of the trio of Madison updates) and 4.17 (the start of Bitty's last semester at Samwell!!) As always, patrons get a preview. (Oof, I gotta post 4.16 tomorrow then!!)
