Hey guys, as I described here, I'm holding off on updating until I meet my publishing deadline. 😩 The GOOD news is that after I finish drawing Check, Please!: Year Four?? Updates will be so much more consistent!! And the other good news is that I'm still sharing a ton of things with patrons. Scroll down for what I worked on this week!

No stream this weekend! I will unfortunately be out of town. My apologies!

Progress

4.18 - finished pencils and inks for this baby B^)
4.19 - will start inking next week!! (this is the playoff episode where way too many people cry)
4.20 - pencils!! (this comic is called "Last Dance"...yuggh)

Whiskey and Bitty communicating before the puck drop...I'm really pleased with how the action/build-up came out here!

Okay, so. Playoffs. Playoff Beards. Well, Playoff Facial Hair. My executive decision is that Bitty will not be growing any sort of horrid face-thing this year, I won't allow it. He's also not doing anything to his hair?? Or he might. I have time to decide. NO MULLETS. NO MUSTACHES.

Anyway:  HOPS CAN'T REALLY GROW A BEARD YET HE'S TRYIN'. hi did someone order one scraggly somewhat adorable hockey mustache

PATRON Q & A

Waffles' Majors:  Like regular jocks probably history or economics. (Louis = econ | Hops = unsure but probably econ | Bully = history). While many student-athletes have a genuine interest in their studies!! I cannot stress how many sports-folk will find the most "convenient" major?? (With classes that aren't interrupted by their practice schedules.

Bully's Mysterious Past: He did juniors!! Just one year. He's older, more mature, and fascinated by the rituals of Samwell men's hockey.

The 4.9 Whiskey Blog Post! This will go up when I'm ready to post 4.10 @_@

Uh....who's Whiskey again? Whiskey is a sophomore member of SMH who is Samwell's leading scorer. (He actually has comparable stats to Jack Zimmermann. CHEW ON THAT.) The first time we see Whiskey is in comic 3.2 ("Taddy Tour"), looking skeptically at Tango during the Bittle-led Haus tour.

Throughout Year Three, he doesn't seem like a dude who drank the SMH Kool-aid. Whiskey only spends time with the lacrosse team but that can only really be gleaned from very background info in Year 3.

WHISKEY IS A PROBLEM FOR SOMEONE LIKE BITTY.

Because Bitty is someone who desperately wants to be a good captain, who thrives on inclusion and openness, and who embraces his sexuality fully

WHAT A MESS

What is this party? This verboten off-off campus party is at a gross ex-a cappella house. This is where many of Samwell's rumors are born after gestating in the murky drunken darkness of basements and entryways.  Bad things happen here!! Come on WAFFLES. If you're going to a party in a falling apart den of iniquity, at least party WHERE THERE'S PIE.

And finally: Whiskey has a real high school girlfriend that he is still dating. Which complicates things for a person like Whiskey.
