comic 4.8 – haus 2.0

I'm currently coloring this comic! I haven't colored anything in over a month, so I'm working on pencils and roughs before digging into this comic. This comic is COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS. While I love writing dramatic, emotional comics—few things beat making goddamn stupid comics about SMH.

comic 4.9 – whiskey

- Bitty is mad:

- But why is he mad? (a) someone said something about Jack (b) someone is picking on a teammate (c) his teammates are doing something dumb (d) a pie was defiled.

Answer: Well, I'm currently working on the pencils/roughs for the comic that should answer that question.

Bitty's Wrath. You know?? Angry Bitty is the most fun to draw. His eyes get cut in half by his eyebrows, he frowns so hard. Also, I'm pretty sure the frogs/tadpoles/waffles have seen Bitty furious more times than Jack. (“How is Jack not terrified of Bitty????”)

Touring a perfect mixture of @_@ + :^)

• Favorite moments: Meeting different readers in a ton of different cities. Touring with other authors! (Writers are very different from comic folk.) Manhattan! Getting a big plate of french fries in Dallas.
• Got to meet some McElboys? 
• Was coerced into talking about bts OR boats OR blue beetle and boostle gold several times.
• Bloomberg Interview! The cinematographer/editor of this interview is my friend from college?? Ryan! We took 2 classes on digital art together. Getting to see him before the big launch was great. Like, catching up meant I didn't have time to freak out about the panel and signing.
• 

I ALSO INTERVIEWED RYAN ABOUT SOFTBALL. That's why one of the main characters is named Ryan. Haven't seen this guy in years!

Bts +Boats + Bookclub

• I'm into BTS now. Learning about bangtan and finishing Book 6 of the Aubreyad was what I did to decompress while traveling.
• On Pillowfort! November: Persuasion. December: Master & Commander
• I invented another story. It's because I read too many boats. It's called Day & Weekes. :^/

Weekly Patreon Updates vs OT Blog updates

From now on, I'm going to do weekly updates on Patreon instead of updating the OT blog sporadically. Why I didn't think of this before is strange to me, but I'm learning every day. I understand that a lot of patrons have had issues accessing the OT blog because, well, Tumblr is bad.  Now you guys can chat about stuff! Hoorah! And I'm letting everyone know about the change before November. If you have any feedback, please leave it in the comments below.
