2023-10-31 23:47:00 +0000 UTCI dont know if you read this already somewhere, but just in Case with the "Numbers" thing: Chiba, written as (千葉), the first Kanji (千) means "thousand" in Japan. Saegusa, writen as (七草) and (七) means "Seven Juumonji, written as (十文字) and (十) means "Ten" Yotsuba, written as (四葉) and (四) means "Four" Since we dont use Kanji in the west this Fact gets lost in Translation. Now, as i mentioned in your EP4 Reaction, there exist the 10 Master Clan, but also the 18 Assistant Houses and the Hundred Families who dont have the "Lineage" like the Familys in the Ten Master Clan and Assistant Houses, but get also recognized as powerful Magician lineages. The Chiba Family is Part of the Hundred Families and Yotsuba, Saegusa and Juumonji are Part of the Ten Master Clans while the Yoshida Family is renowned for their use of Ancient Magic, which they practice in the Shinto style but they arent Part of the Numbers. This was already mentioned in the Light Novels, but as always, the Anime just cant bring in all this Information ^^
