2023-10-26 08:02:53 +0000 UTCTamaya! I'm not sure anyone has mentioned it yet, and it's never properly discussed in the Anime only with offhanded comments, but Tanya's Type 95 actually is "cursed". The side effect of using it will gradually make Tanya more faithful and it does corrupt her memory (almost like she blacks out during long term use) as mentioned in this episode. She ends up primarily using the Type 97 instead and only pulls out the 95 when needed.

2023-10-25 19:39:11 +0000 UTCElenium Type 97 is an Operation Orb with 2 cores (usually only 1 Core is build into a Operation Orb) developed by Professor Schugel, a product version of Tanya's Elenium Type 95 that couldn't be mass produced. The principle of this orb is the same as Elenium Type 95, but more stable and far inferior output. However, this Orb is still a generation ahead of existing Orbs used by other countries. It is a revolutionary model that was hard to handle for single-core users until they got used to it.

2023-10-25 13:55:31 +0000 UTCThe battle of Dakia was a reference to the real battles of Romania in ww1, they entered the war with little preperation for the new war paradigm, was not as bad as in the show but something that Tanya does really well is highlighting how bad some of these older war time doctrines are, she also takes advantages of the loopholes in many of these systems to highlight how bad they are and how much they need updating.
