Surprisingly I've really enjoyed the Gajeels in this arc they've been great

2023-09-03 14:45:31 +0000 UTC"if i barge in from the front, the onlookers will get wrapped up in it" - gajeel his character development isnt the most in your face yet (which makes sense, since he's only been involved in one arc since joining the guild), but you can definitely tell he's changed. pre phantom lord gajeel wouldnt care about random people dying, in fact he'd probably enjoy hurting them. we saw it in the battle of fairy tail arc, he's protected levy a couple of times, and also referred to the guild members as his "buddies" like last episode when talking to edolas-gajeel. trust though, his development only goes upwards from here
