if you really think kirito would kill 6k humans to bring an ai version of asuna back then you dont know him. He wouldnt do it and asuna wouldnt even want to come back if it meant killing others for it

2023-09-11 20:14:27 +0000 UTCive seen all 3 movies in the cinema on release day 1 and i remember how insane the first fight was against the samurai boss, it felt like i was there. its like lizbeth has said, kirito will never fight for real again unless he has a good reason to. he was pretty chill about ordinal scale but the moment asuna tokk real damage from it he was going all out. The fight agains the wolf where he pretty much 1v1ed it showed that pretty good it was so sweet to hear what she wrote in her diary and that she didnt mind kirito to read it because she completly trust him. i nthe english dub she event tells him that he can read the whole book. even while cheating eiji lost to kirito once he figured it out Kirito thought there was a good chance that hied diesn in the boss batttle, so he gave asuna the engagement ring just in case Asuna using mothers rosario with yuuki apearing always gives me chills in the credits you see kirito meeting asuna's mom once they came back

2023-09-08 16:39:57 +0000 UTCSwitch isn't a Kirito thing but an SAO thing, the monster AI in Seed games is adapting to the people fighting them, switching messes up their learning, resetting it to the start. Also as there is no magic they have to switch through in a potion rotation to heal themselves up (potions in SAO healed over time instead of instant) Eiji saying switch was supposed to be a hint that he is a SAO survivor. Some supplementary information on Eiji, he has a mild case of “FullDive Nonconformity” basically the NerveGear had trouble properly communicating with his brain. Since it’s a mass-produced product instead of being custom fit for everyone, that happens sometimes. Some people can’t use FullDive machines at all, at least not if they aren’t custom fit to their brains, others can use them, but some senses are slightly off or stuff like that, sometimes it’s to a degree where it wouldn’t even be a big deal in a normal game but in a Death Game it would be a fatal flaw. Eiji’s case was one of them, through the FullDive Nonconformity his movement was impeded whenever he was afraid, so in situations when normally people could just power through the fear and keep fighting he would freeze and be unable to move regardless of what he wants to do. No problem in a normal game where you don’t have any reason to be truly afraid but if it’s a death game, you are crippled. Also remember Kirito cheating his ass off in ALO to save Asuna and getting celebrated for it? Same thing, if Kirito was in Eiji's situation, if Asuna died, Kirito failed to kill himself, and he was given the chance to bring her back, he would be doing the same shit Eiji was doing. Kind of weird how people are trying to be understanding towards the mastermind that is responsible for everything and is ready to murder thousands of people because "you can understand where he is coming from" but the traumatized teenager that was used as a pawn and thrown away gets all the hate. Also FYI you might have noticed that for some reason Suguha/Leafa was barely in the main part of the movie, that’s because they specifically wrote her out of it, since she would have beaten up Eiji and ended the move at the halfway point when she saw him attack Asuna & Silica.
