Fairy Tail Episode 68 Reaction!

Comments

Jellal lowkey had fire rizz as a kid (the wendy reveal causes me great pain and suffering)

Amara Harris

Honestly this episode with the reveal about Cait Shelter always makes me cry and feel bad for Wendy, first she lost grandeeny at the age of 4, traveled with Mystogan only for him to leave her behind, then she lived with an illusionary family for 7 years that was made FOR HER only to lose them too. I’m so thankful for fairy tail being there to take her in but honestly I think she has had the hardest time out of all the first/third gen dragon slayers with those precious early years

Wendy was basically raised by people who don't exist 😭 this shit was sad

"That morning's dawn was painted a beautiful scarlet, the likes of which I had never seen before. Like the color of Erza's hair, it was warm, and passionate... If she could only lift her face, a beautiful sky would be spread out before her... If she could only lift her face..." fuck you lucy. i didnt need to be crying the 5th time this episode

You're good! It did sound like Jellal truly deserved to go to jail so I apologize for the miscommunication 😅

Ah I understood the Winter Soldier comparison, and yeah my bad I think I'm the only idiot who misconstrued what you said about Jellal my bad 💀 yeah I get what you mean that self reflection time would be good

Lukastace NovaSword

Ah I need to clarify this on Youtube now before people think I dislike Jellal 💀 like I don't hate him he's already on a great character development arc but I think him going away will contribute to his overall development

Angel Rodriguez

It's like a Winter soldier situation here 💀 I'm not sure if you know him but practically the same situation. Like from my perspective if Jellal went free he's going to live with that regret for the rest of his life and not know to deal with it. Yes everyone can guide him to a better life but I feel like he'll be a stronger person if he went through that journey alone. I don't think he deserves to be executed or serving a life sentence cause he was being mind controlled. But with prison time comes time for self reflection and takes away the thought that you need to be punished for everything that you did eventhough he was being mind controlled. At the end of the day Jellal needs a break for really going through it but I'm also viewing it from the side of the council

Angel Rodriguez

Jellal didn't do the bad things though it was Ultear's possession 😭 Sure Tower of Heaven portrayed him as a villain but it's like Lucy said he was just a boy who was a victim of evil schemes and eviler ambitions. Why do you think this is so hard for Erza, she's the most righteous person in the show, yet she understands that nothing "Jellal" did is his fault, some of the most heinous and horrific stuff was done to him, like slavery since a very young age is one thing but imagine being tortured and then forcefully having his your mind twisted and manipulated, bro needs a break "he still did bad things" like the blame falls on Ultear here, Jellal has nothing to atone for. If only he knew

this episode literally felt like an emotional one-two 😭 first the shit with jellal and erza, then with wendy and caitshelter, i wasnt ready

Having finished the whole series, watching this brought tears to my eyes. Like this is truly the beginning of the emotions and journeys you go on watching this show. And it's still so so good, only gonna get better!
