Erza's backstory is always heartbreaking to see... they were literally kids put through hell. She managed to make friends in such a terrible and dark place, yet they still suffered, and Erza was tortured to the extent of losing her eye. I also love young Jellal, he had a strong sense of justice like Erza said, he was brave and compassionate, he even came to save Erza but the damage had already been done (to her eye), then they took him in her place and tortured him to the extent that his hate was heightened and Ultear possessed him under the guise of the Black Wizard Zeref, the most evil man in the magical world. It's just so tragic man. "๐๐ณ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฅ๐ฐ๐ฎ ๐ช๐ด ๐ช๐ฏ๐ด๐ช๐ฅ๐ฆ ๐บ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ณ ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ข๐ณ๐ต" - Rob to Erza "๐๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ณ๐ฆ ๐ช๐ด ๐ฏ๐ฐ ๐ง๐ณ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฅ๐ฐ๐ฎ ๐ช๐ฏ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ช๐ด ๐ธ๐ฐ๐ณ๐ญ๐ฅ"- Ultear to Jellal fucckkkk the parallels are so sad but well-written at the same time, he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time ๐ญ This arc is a masterpiece for me, getting to see the more vulnerable side of Erza, the symbolism with her feeling more comfortable in her armour because of her traumatic past which obviously scarred her, as well as super impactful emotional moments. Erza using magic for the first time after Rob dies just hits so hard, the soundtrack is also phenomenal as always, I know it's good in every arc but this was the first time they took it to an entirely different level, if you rewatch the scene where Erza activates her magic you'll hear it. This also sets the foundation for some very interesting characters later on in the show (who you will soon learn about). Erza and Jellal's backstory is the saddest in anime for me

And cmon bro you cant never ever forget anything about ZEREF ( His name, his demons, his magics) in this show... this time you got lucky they recaped for you, but they will not recap forever... you simple cant forget Anything about it.... time to go back to school and take notes ๐คฃ๐คฃ
