You wanted to leave Yui home she was the MVP We will go into AI's later in the series. She could not stay because the Cardinal percived her as an hack/Virus because she interfered with the main programe to delete the boss. Tankgod she ativated the console, that way kirito made something nice, Yui is code... if you have physical space ( Pen drive,SSD... NervGear with local memory....)you can save code... what you saw in the end, most people say is BS pull out of ass.... it will be shown later in the show why we was capable of doing it/ have the knowledge to do it. just ignore those people. Kirito just "stole" an IA (atleast the code) BTH Yui is a Top-Down AI we will get there later in the series with full explanations.
